Was demonstrating at the Fair today … what fun. It was also fun to see my entries win ribbons.

That is so very cool!! I’ve never thought of entering things in fairs in FL.
Sorry it’s taken me so long to get back with you! I actually still have not purchased a wheel. After that weekend, things got crazy and I just had so much going on that the wheel thing got put on the back burner. Hope all is well.

The Manatee County Fair doesn’t even have a division for fiber arts, weaving, or anything of that sort. I’m “miscellaneous” but I have to say it is a thrill to see what I’ve made be acknowledged. The FL State Fair takes entries back in November so it was much too late when I thought about it to enter but perhaps another year. You should enter where you live. It’s fun and we’re having a blast demonstrating. All the times I’ve seen artists and been fascinated by their work, it never occured to me that anyone would find something I could do interesting.
