I haven’t had any problems. I pass the weft shuttle through, holding a small loop of weft, I use the peddles to change the shed, then a pull the small loop on through and then use the side of the shuttle to tap the weft in place. It takes a bit of doing to get used to the side approach but big advantage is I can weave long stretches without adjusting the beams so my weaving is neater with straighter borders. … will have to make a UTube video … it will make more sense when you see it than when I try to describe it with words:)

Some people have said they have hand problems putting the weft through sideways. Now that you’ve used the loom for a while, what’s your experience?
