I finished my first project on the reconditioned Kessenich Loom, a rag rug. I created a lot of learning opportunities along the way, LOL, but I’m well pleased with the results.

I still haven’t finished my first weaving project but it’s been on my loom for months! Yes, all creative people are messy!

Knowing I would be leaving the mountains and might not return until fall was very motivating to get the rug finished. I’ve already promised a rag rug to my step-daughter as a Christmas present so I need to get back to the mountains (oh well, I’ll try any excuse to get back to the cool lush green of the mountains…if only they didn’t have that white stuff and I understand that it’s not sand!) LOL
